A short word with lots of meanings

I want to devote this post talking about the verb "set". How many meanings can you name? (It'll be gtreat if you answer).
Just take a look at them.
set - to put something in a particular place or position - He set a vase of flowers on the table.
set - If a story, film, etc. is set in a particular time or place, theaction in it happens in that time or place - "West Side Story" is set in New York City in the late 1950s.
set - to cause something or someone to be in the stated condition or situation - The new director has set a lot of changes in motion in our department.
set smb/smth doing smth - to cause someone or something to start doing something - The thunderstorm set the radio crackling.
set sb to work - to give someone work to do - I was set to work dusting the bookshelves.
set - to establish or decide something - Lewis has set a new world record.
set - to get something ready so that it comes into operation or can be used - I usually set my watch by the time on the computer.
set - to put furniture and other things on a stage so that it represents the time and the place in which the action of a play, film, or television programme is going tohappen - During the interval the stage was set for the second act.
set - to fix or make certain - Has a date/time been set for the meeting yet?
set - to give someone a piece of school work or homework to do - My science teacher always sets a lot of homework.
set - (of the sun, moon, or planets) to go down below the horizon (= the line at which the earth seems to join the sky) - The setting sun cast long shadows across the lawn.



So what would you say? And don't forget that I didn't write the phrasal verbs. 

Our teacher's happiness

What does happiness mean? Every person will surely say that it's peace at home, health of your next of kin, good loyal friends. I totally agree with that. But....The work is also essential. If you're keen on your job you'll enjoy every single moment of doing it. Thanks God I have such an opportunity. I do love my job. I'm fond of working with children, helping them to become good clever people. That's the happiness. So I want to share my happiness with you.

The definition of POP

I’m going to take a look at word “POP”.
It has so many meanings and you wouldn’t believe how often we use it!

Here are some prime examples:
➢ Pop – a light explosion sound – The champagne bottle popped and everyone cheered.
➢ Pop – when you play with a pimple – I’ve just popped a spot.
➢ Pop – a fizzy soft drink – I’ve drunk so much pop today I feel so bloated. 
➢ Pop – when something suddenly opens – My button has just popped open.
➢ Pop – when your eyes widen with surprise – My eyes popped when I saw the diamond ring he bought me.
➢ Pop – when you quickly put something small into your mouth – He popped the pill into his mouth and took a sip of water.
➢ Pop into – put something somewhere quickly – She popped her umbrella into her bag before leaving the house.
➢ Pop by – when somebody comes and visits you without notice – Susan just popped by for some sugar.
➢ Pop round – go and visit somebody without notice – I’m just going to pop round Jack’s to borrow some sugar.
➢ Pop back – return from a somewhere soon – Jack will pop back in a minute!
➢ Pop out – go somewhere for a few minutes – I’m sorry, Mr Jones is unavailable at the moment. He’s just popped out.
➢ Pop out – go somewhere quickly without notice – Sorry, I just need to pop out for a minute.
➢ Pop out – appear suddenly – That bear just popped out from nowhere.
➢ Take a pop at somebody – criticise someone to his face/or in public – I was so surprised when the train driver took a pop at me because I had bought the wrong ticket.
➢ A pop – in every occasion or circumstance – She gets paid £50 a pop.
➢ Ready to pop – when someone has eaten too much or is about to give birth – I am so full I might pop! I am so big now…. I can’t wait to have this baby! I’m ready to pop!
